US Airways holds big party to celebrate carrier's final flight

US Airways has flown its last flight. From this weekend the 2013 merger with American AIrlines is definitive, with the Airways brand disappearing and a single website, reservations system, and logo taking over. The merger has created the world’s largest air carrier, and the new giant celebrated with a big party in San Francisco, from where the final plane took off.
