For the 2015 edition of MIPCOM, over 100 countries and 2000 companies exhibiting will fight for the attention of 13,700 participants, including 4,500 buyers in Cannes to gets their hands on the content of the future.
According to the programme, top executives will be “sharing their vision on how to stand out from the crowd and make a difference” amid the non-stop flow of factual and entertainment content.
Turkey is this year’s MIPCOM “Country of Honour,” a position justified by the fact that it now exports $200 million worth of television series to 75 countries. Turkey will be there in force, with over a dozen top executives, creatives and actors, and over 10 conferences and events centered around the growing Turkish content industry.
MIPCOM will provide other star-studded panels with awards-winning creative minds, world-class artists and executives from the world’s largest companies: Fox, BBC, AOL, Facebook, etc.
A stunning, innovative techonology – 4K ultra HD – video will also be the topic of several conferences. Asia is at the forefront of the innovation, but content providers and distributors worldwide need to be on top of their game for when 4k hits the mass market in 2016. These panels and presentations aim to bring them the solutions they need.
