The Vatican says a Catholic former archbishop accused of child sex offences has been found dead from natural causes a month after he was hospitalised on the eve of his trial.
66-year-old Jozef Wesolowski, who was envoy to Santo Domingo, faced charges of paying boys for sexual acts and downloading and buying paedophile material in the first trial of its kind held by the Vatican against a high-ranking official.
