One of oldest copies of Koran found in Birmingham library

Birmingham University library claims to house one of the oldest surviving copies of the Koran in the world.

Radiocarbon dating suggests fragments of a manuscript of Islam’s holy book found in the UK library are at least 1,370 years old.

This would make the parchment folios one of the earliest written forms of the Koran in existence.
