The LA Lakers shooting guard and Barca fan joined the squad at their training base in Los Angeles and after a chat with the players exchanged shirts with club captain Andres Iniesta.
The Spanish team, who are without Copa America participants Lionel Messi and Neymar, arrived in LA on Sunday and will play their opening International Champions Cup game against home side LA Galaxy on Tuesday.
After that match the European champions meet Manchester United in Santa Clara on Saturday and Chelsea in Landover three days later.
