Sinisa Mihajlovic was officially unveiled as the new coach of AC Milan on Friday as the club looks to turn the tides on a shocking slump in form.
The Serb is Milan’s fourth coach in just over 18 months and has signed a two-year contract with the fading seven-times European champions
Accompanied at the press conference by the club’s president Silvio Berlusconi, 46-year-old Mihajlovic said: “When Milan calls you, you can’t adapt to normality and flying at ground level. On the contrary, your destiny is to think big, to be ambitious looking for great targets. And on the pitch the name is not enough, the name of the club must be protected, defended and worn with pride.”
It’s been a disappointing past two seasons for Milan who were tenth in the Serie A last term meaning no European football for a second successive year.
