Hosts Chile are through to their first Copa America final in 28 years after seeing off Peru in a hot tempered semi final in Santiago.
Former QPR striker Eduardo Vargas put Chile in front just before half time but Peru levelled through a Gary Medel own goal on the hour mark.
But four minutes later Vargas fired home a delightful second to seal a 2-1 win.
In Saturday’s final Chile – who have never won the Copa title in the 99-year history of the tournament – will meet the winners of tonights other semi between Argentina and Paraguay.
