The queen’s of European basketball returned home to a heroes welcome on Monday after having won their first Eurobasket title.
Thousands of supporters turned out in Belgrade’s city centre to help celebrate with the Serbia women’s team who beat France in the final of the tournament that was co-hosted by Hungary and Romania.
The victory also saw the team book their spot for an Olympic debut next year in Rio.
It caps off a fine week for Serbian sports fans who also celebrated their men’s under 20 national football team winning the world cup.
