Thousands of supporters turned out in Belgrade’s city centre to help celebrate with the Serbia women’s team who beat France in the final of the tournament that was co-hosted by Hungary and Romania.
The victory also saw the team book their spot for an Olympic debut next year in Rio.
It caps off a fine week for Serbian sports fans who also celebrated their men’s under 20 national football team winning the world cup.
