The British sailing mecca of Cowes on the stunning Isle of white played host to the second stop of the 2015 Bullitt GC32 Racing Tour.
The Cowes’ Cup takes place on the Solent which lies between the Island and the UK mainland and is steeped in history – it was the venue for the very first America’s Cup in 1851.
Consistent sailing throughout the day saw Alinghi, skippered by Team Principal Ernesto Bertarelli, top the leaderboard.
But there are two more days of inshore racing on Thursday and Friday before the five crews compete in the Round the Island Race at the weekend.
