This is the powerful and imaginative art installation held to highlight wartime sexual violence in Kosovo.
More than 5,000 dresses and skirts – including ones donated by Cherie Blair and Rita Ora – were pegged to washing lines in Pristina football stadium.
There are no figures for the number of women and girls raped or subjected to sexual violence during Kosovo’s 1998-99 war, but NGOs claim it could be in the thousands.
The showcase, called “Thinking of You”, was put on by Kosovo-born but London-based Alketa Xhafa-Mripa.
