A young child is pulled from the rubble of a building believed to have been bombed by forces loyal to president Bashir al- Assad. She is rushed to hospital in an ambulance in a video obtained by Reuters.

Meanwhile, across the country, battles over cities and towns reduce more homes to rubble with soldiers and civilians alike victims.
