[Watch] Scary close-up footage of giant tornado in Illinois

A video shows moments after Supercell thunderstorms created a giant tornado that ripped through northern Illinois on Thursday.

One person is reported to have been killed and several others injured, with the town of Fairdale being worst hit. Every home in the town has been affected and approximately 15 to 20 houses have been totally destroyed.

Authorities think that no more victims will be found, but they will continue working throughout Friday to account for all residents.
