Borussia Dortmund have been handed a massive boost after scans showed Marco Reus’ thigh injury was only a dead leg.

The 25-year-old, who signed a new deal with the German side in February, was substituted with a suspected knee injury during his side’s cup tie clash against Dynamo Dresden on Tuesday.

Reus has already been sidelined twice with severe ankle injuries this season and has only made 19 competitive appearances for his club.
