Spain’s Fernando Alonso has been released from hospital with McLaren confirming he will miss this week’s final pre-season test in Barcelona.
The double world champion suffered concussion and was airlifted to hospital following his crash at Turn 3 on Sunday.
McLaren said Denmark’s Kevin Magnussen will now share testing duties with British driver Jenson Button at the Circuit de Catalunya.
