Of good Stoch, that’s Kamil as the Pole delighted the home support in Zakopane with an imperious World Cup large hill victory.
The two-time Olympic champion delivered jumps of 134 and 133 metres massing an impressive 276.2 points.
Kamil Stoch has been out of form recently, but his win at home will boost his confidence for the remainder of the season.
He now moves to 16th in the overall World Cup standings.
Stoch finished 2.3 points ahead of Austria’s in form and World Cup leader Stefan Kraft.
Another big fish the German Olympic champion Stefan Freund finished third.
