The figure skater was banned by the Italian anti-doping tribunal.
The 27-year-old admitted she lied to drug testers who showed up at her home in 2012 looking for her then boyfriend and 2008 Olympic race walking champion Alex Schwazer.
She reportedly told them he was not at her house, when in fact he was.
She denies knowing he was using performance-enhancing drugs.
Schwazer was banned for four years in 2012 for testing positive for EPO.
