Berlin: Santa abseils down building to children's delight

Father Christmas spread festive joy in Berlin as he dropped into a viewing station cafe unannounced to give children presents after fortuitously dropping one of his gift sacks on the building’s roof.

Lodged on the ledge of Berlin’s Kollhoff Tower some 100 metres up, retrieving the gift sack was no mean feat as Santa and two helpers abseiled down the building to retrieve it.
