The beautiful game showed off its ugly side on Monday when fans clashed with police following a Mexican Championship match.

Clashes broke out between Atlas hooligans and police at the Jalisco stadium in Guadalajara city following their side’s quarter-final exit at the hands of Monterrey.

According to witnesses Atlas fans initially attacked their Monterrey counterparts at the final whistle with the clashes then spilling outside the stadium.
