Police in Portugal have carried out mass searches into the defunct Espirito Santo bank on Thursday.
Thirty-four homes were searched in the case relating to alleged fraud, tax evasion and money laundering.
It is the most visible action into the Espirito Santo family business empire which collapsed in August.
