Supporters of Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea fought in central Paris on April 2 prior to their teams’ Champions League quarter-final match. Violence broke out on Rue Saint-Denis, about two hours before the game. Police was forced to intervene to disperse around 200 people involved in the clashes that provoked at least one light injured. According to witnesses some Chelsea fans were allegedly making Nazi salutes and chanting racist abuse before attacking PSG fans.
