Season 4 is coming! Watch trailer for new series of Game of Thrones

A trailer for the hotly-anticipated next series of Game of Thrones has been released – months before it’s due to hit screens.

American cable and satellite network HBO has unveiled a taster for the fourth season of the fantasy-adventure programme.

The show is the jewel in HBO’s crown – it says the third series of Game of Thrones had an average gross audience of 14.2 million, making it the broadcaster’s second-most viewed series, behind the fifth season of Sopranos.

The new season of Game of Thrones is set to hit screens on April 6.
