Climate change

Climate change is often described as a series of unexpected events leading to disaster. Nicholas Mirzoeff is one of our experts on disasters. He is currently working on a project on the visual culture of climate change in conjunction with the not-for-profit organisation Islands First.

Nicholas Mirzoeff is Professor of Media, Culture and Communication at New York University.He has written several books on Visual Culture including, Watching Babylon: The War in Iraq and Global Visual Culture.
