The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) says it has opened an inquiry into possible wrongdoing by one of its European Prosecutors.

EPPO did not give any further details about the alleged wrongdoing.

EPPO is the independent public prosecution office of the European Union and is responsible for investigating and prosecuting crimes against the financial interests of the bloc.
