The adult content creator, whose real name is Tia Billinger, faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in jail after allegedly breaking Indonesian law.
Controversial adult content creator Bonnie Blue has been detained in Indonesia for allegedly producing pornographic content, in violation of the Muslim-majority country’s morality laws.
The 26-year-old British woman, who was banned from OnlyFans and whocreated moral outrage earlier this year with the documentary 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, was arrested during a police raid on a rental studio in Bali on Thursday.
She is known for organising sex “challenges” involving large groups of young men and had announced her Bali visit on social media, writing: “Hey boys, those that’re going to Schoolies and to those who are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you – and I’m in Bali, so you know exactly what that means.”
Blue had hired a bus - dubbed the “Bangbus” - for “schoolies week”, and her group included at least 17 male tourists of British and Australian nationalities.
Police said Blue’s group were allegedly creating “content containing pornographic or immoral elements”.
Indonesia has strict laws banning the production, distribution and public display of pornographic material.
Blue was released but her passport remained seized, before she was transferred to immigration authorities.
If convicted, she faces a maximum sentence of 15 years in jail and a fine of 6 billion rupiah (approximately €309,000).
Blue made headlines earlier this year when she claimed to have had sex with 1,057 men in a single day (12 hours, to be precise), in an attempt to set the world record for the most number of sexual partners in one day.
In our review of 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story, we wrote: "While it would have been interesting to examine the possible dichotomy of Billinger / Blue being either an empowered sex-positive entrepreneur – as she has become one of the highest earning content creators to have appeared on OnlyFans and earned a million pounds from her '1,000 men' stunt - or dangerously pandering to toxic male fantasies (or both), the doc doesn’t delve all that deep into what lies behind her story."
We added: "1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story may or may not get you upset, uncomfortable or feeling dirty. But one thing’s for sure – you won’t emerge particularly enriched from the experience."
