The Holy month of Ramadan is a time of reflection, community, and giving, but for a group of circus enthusiasts, it's also a time to bring joy to Gazan children.
The Free Gaza Circus, co-founded by Yousif Khader in 2018, performs and teaches circus arts to children using hand-crafted equipment. The circus centre, operating in displacement camps in Northern Gaza, aims to turn children's tears into smiles.
