Aerial video showed the extent of devastating flooding across Sri Lanka which has killed more than 365 people and left hundreds more missing.
Footage from Sri Lankan TV showed footage from towns such as Kantale and Mullaitivu in the north east of the island to Kaduwela outside the capital in the south west.
Authorities said rescuers were still searching for 367 missing people.
About 218,000 people are housed in temporary shelters after being battered in the past week downpours that flooded homes, fields and roads and triggered landslides, primarily in the tea-growing central hill country.
The extreme weather also killed 604 people in Indonesia and 176 in Thailand, national authorities said.
