Gambia lawmakers say Maiden to blame for child kidney injury deaths

DAKAR – Gambia’s parliamentary select committee on health on Tuesday said the India-based Maiden Pharmaceuticals Ltd was responsible for the deaths of over 70 children from acute kidney injury and called on the government for legal action against the company.
