MILAN (Reuters) - Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said on Tuesday the government will last until the end of its mandate in four years time, ruling out a collapse after this month's European elections.
"There will be no new government put together around a table," Salvini told reporters in Milan, adding that he hoped relations would improve between his League party and its coalition partner the 5-Star Movement.
The two parties, which formed a government in June last year, are competing for votes ahead of the European elections and clash frequently on a wide range of issues.
