Russia, Japan agree to develop industrial facility for $800 million

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian Direct Investment Fund, Japan's Marubeni Corporation and Russia's AEON Corporation have agreed to develop an industrial facility in the Russian city of Volgograd, the Russian investment fund said on Monday.

The fund said that total investment is estimated at over $800 million and that the construction is due to start in 2020.

The facility is expected to include a new methanol plant, it added.
