Caricatures of former Italian leaders Silvio Berlusconi and Matteo Renzi were brandished as protesters gathered in Rome to denounce the situation surrounding work vouchers. The rally was organised by CGIL, Italy’s largest trade-union confederation. Angered at the abolition of vouchers used as pay for occasional work, people chanted ‘Respect! For work, democracy and our constitution.”
