Moment of silence honours Ahmed Merabet, policemen killed in Charlie Hebdo shooting

Hundreds of mourners gathered Sunday (January 11) in tribute to slain policeman Ahmed Merabet, who was killed earlier in the week after terrorist attacks at the offices of French magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The crowd assembled in Livry-Gargan, a northeastern suburb of Paris and Merabet’s hometown, for a moment of silence to honour the fallen policeman.
