PORTO ALEGRE, Brazil (Reuters) - Two second half goals gave Internacional a 2-0 win over Avai at the Beira Rio stadium in Porto Alegre on Sunday.
Playing his final club match before joining Peru for the Copa America, striker Paolo Guerrero put Inter ahead from a corner after 61 minutes.
Edenilson got the second 15 minutes later when he finished off a text book counter attack.
The three points lifted Inter into fifth place in the Serie A.
Palmeiras remain the only unbeaten team in the league and lead the table after beating Chapecoense 2-1 away from home.
