VALLADOLID (Reuters) - Real Madrid's players were forced to do their warm up for Sunday's La Liga game at Real Valladolid in the dark after the Jose Zorilla stadium was hit by a power cut which began one hour and 15 minutes before the game was due to begin.

The lights came back on ahead of kick off and the game began at the scheduled time.

Valladolid did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the power cut.

Valladolid, who have been owned since September by former Brazilian striking great Ronaldo, came in for criticism from La Liga president Javier Tebas last August for the dire state of their pitch for their first home game of the season against Barcelona.
