ATHENS - Greece's economy is projected to grow by 3.1% this year and by 4.8% in 2023, the finance ministry said on Friday.
The government also expects a primary budget deficit of 2% of gross domestic product (GDP) this year, according to the country's mid-term economic plan, which was presented by Finance Minister Christos Staikouras at a cabinet meeting.
Greece's 2022 budget projected growth of 4.5% this year.
Staikouras said last month that high energy prices and the war in Ukraine would have a negative impact on the country's economic growth this year.
