The Crimea zoo that lets you get up close and personal with lions
Tourists can get up close and personal with lions at one zoo in Crimea. It is not uncommon for big cats like Filya to be seen climbing over tourists, through their cars, and enjoy an affectionate exchange of the kind cuddles and neck rubs that felines and feline-lovers alike adore (see in the video above).
Taigan Safari Park in Vilnohirsk, Crimea is famous for offering its visitors proximity to its lions.
But it can be, as you might well have guessed, a risky initiative at times; a women was hurt there this summer by one of Filya's fellow felines.
