(Reuters) - Drugstore chain Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc <WBA.O> posted a 23.6% fall in quarterly profit on Thursday, hurt by weak performance of its UK unit.

Net income attributable to Walgreens fell to $1.03 billion, or $1.13 per share, in the third quarter ended May 31, from $1.34 billion, or $1.35 per share, a year earlier.

Revenue rose to $34.59 billion from $34.33 billion.
