Germany appoints administrator for Russian bank VTB's European arm

BERLIN – German regulator Bafin has appointed an administrator to run the European arm of Russian bank VTB, the watchdog said on Tuesday.

The measure is to ensure the bank complies with rules on the minimum number of managing directors at a credit institution, said Bafin.
