ROME (Reuters) - Italy's market watchdog Consob has no investigation under way at the moment into troubled lender Banca Carige <CRGI.MI>, top Consob offical Angelo Apponi said on Thursday.
"It would be a bit out of order if we were to probe a company that is under special administration," Apponi said in a parliamentary hearing.
