LONDON (Reuters) - Gilt yields fell to fresh record lows on Wednesday, as British government debt continued to benefit from investors' appetite for safe assets.
Ten-year yields <GB10YT=RR> edged past a previous low of 0.491% set on Monday to hit 0.489% at 0702 GMT, down 2 basis points on the day, while 30-year yields <GB30YT=RR> dropped to a record low of 1.168%.
