Edenred keeps 2019 outlook as first-quarter revenue rises

(Reuters) - French vouchers and card provider Edenred kept its outlook for 2019 unchanged as its total revenue rose in the first quarter.

The company, which competes with Sodexo, said it still expected a like-for-like growth in operating revenue of more than 7 percent and a like-for-like growth in operating EBIT of more than 9 percent in 2019.

Edenred reported total revenue in the first quarter of 2019 at 383 million euros (£331.88 million), up 15.3 percent from a year earlier.

"Double-digit growth has been recorded in all of our business lines and in all of the regions where we operate," Edenred Chairman and CEO Bertrand Dumazy said in a statement.
