Meggitt signs 750 million pound contract with engine maker Pratt & Whitney

(Reuters) - UK engineering firm Meggitt Plc <MGGT.L> said on Monday it signed a 750 million pounds ($965.40 million) contract with Pratt & Whitney for supply of components for two of its engines.

The 10-year contract with the engine maker is to supply advanced components for the F119 and F135 engines which power the F-22 Raptor and F-35 Lightning II aircraft.
