TRIPOLI (Reuters) - Libyan state security guards at the El Sharara oilfield have threatened to shut down production but oil workers there have refused to comply, state oil firm NOC said on Saturday.
The "National Oil Corporation (NOC) condemns the actions of the Sharara oil field Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG), which this morning (December 8, 2018) facilitated a protest at the field and threatened employees to shut down production," NOC said in a statement.
