(Reuters) – Pub Operator Greene King Plc’s <GNK.L> long-time Chief Executive Officer, Rooney Anand, will step down at the end of the current financial year, the company said on Tuesday.

Greene King, which has been helmed by Anand for about 14 years, said on Tuesday it would announce a successor early in 2019.

Greene King, whose brands include Greene King IPA, has had a tough time battling market pressures this year, with its shares down about 10.5 percent so far.
