PRAGUE (Reuters) - Czech carmaker Skoda Auto, a unit of Volkswagen <VOWG_p.DE>, raised global deliveries by 6.6 percent to 91,800 vehicles in August, its best ever result for that month, it said on Thursday.

Sales grew sharply in its Russian and Chinese markets, as well as in Europe, Skoda said.
