SOFIA - Bulgaria's nuclear power plant Kozloduy said on Friday it would shut down its 1,000 megawatt Unit 6 early on Saturday to fix a technical glitch in a steam generator.

The plant said the unit was operating within the safety operational norms, but it would shut the reactor to eliminate a coolant leak from the first to the second circuit in one of its steam generators.

The plant said there has been no change in the radiation levels at its site. Its other 1,000 MW reactor is working at full capacity.
