Two members of the group "Ultima Generazione", or "Last Generation", stuck their hands on the base of the Roman statue of Lacoon, one of the masterpieces of the Vatican Museums' collection, to protest against climate change.
The activists unfurled a banner reading "Last Generation No Gas No Coal", urging politicians to heed the call of the scientific community and take action against climate change.
