Videos posted online showed angry protesters hurling objects at police officers lined up along a bridge in Caracas while others chanted: "Let's unite!"

Late on Tuesday, violent clashes with troops left one young man dead, a local rights group said, in an echo of tumultuous street demonstrations two years ago.
