What happened?
Skeleton
ADVERTISEMENTLizzy Yarnold's second successive gold and a bronze for team mate Laura Deas underlined Britain's extraordinary dominance of Olympic women's skeleton racing on Saturday. British women have medalled aat every skeleton event since the sport was reintroduced to the Games in 2002 - and the UK does not boast a single track.
Women’s ski slopestyle
Switzerland’s Sarah Hoefflin wins gold in the women’s ski slopestyle. The silver medal went to another Swiss, Mathilde Gremaud and bronze went to British athlete Isabel Atkin.
Atkin’s feat is the UK’s first ever skiing medal at a Winter Olympics.
Hockey
The Czechs beat Canada in men’s ice hockey 3-2 in a shootout win.
This is the first time the Canadians lose at ice hockey in the Olympics since 2010.
Alpine skiing
Czech snowboarder Ester Ledecka makes a surprise win at the women’s super-G event beating Austria’s Anna Veith by 0.01 of a second.
Men's figure skating
Japan’s Yuzuru Hanyu took gold in the men’s singles competition on Saturday, giving Japan its first medal at the Olympics.
Short track speed skating
There was delight at the Gangneung Ice Arena as Minjeong Choi won the ladies' 1,500m Final A for the host nation South Korea. Samuel Girard won gold for Canada in the men's 1,000m Final A.
Cross-country skiing
The ladies' 4 x 5km Relay brought victory for Norway.
Biathlon
There was gold for Slovakia's Anastasiya Kuzmina in the women's 12.5km Mass Start.
Ski Jumping
The late event saw Poland's Kamil Stoch win gold in the Men's Large Hill Individual event.
