Uniper in talks with Gazprom over gas payment process

FRANKFURT - Uniper is in talks with Gazprom over how to make payments for Russian gas deliveries under a scheme proposed by Moscow that requires buyers to set up rouble accounts with Gazprombank.

The company said these talks also involved the German government, which is in charge of ensuring energy supply security in Europe's top economy.
