LONDON - Britain's Brexit minister David Frost said there was nothing wrong with seeking changes to the 2020 Brexit deal after it had become clear some sections relating to Northern Ireland were not working.

"We have all learned from experience, it is clear that we now know what is working and what is not, and we believe the best way to resolve the situation is to try to negotiate changes," Frost said in a statement to parliament.

"And we don't see what is wrong with that. Anyone would think that it was a highly unusual thing to renegotiate a treaty; of course it is not."
